Thanks to our 115cc Honda Scoopy we set out to Pai Canyon (Kong Lan) also referred to as Thailand’s (tiny) version of the Grand Canyon.
On our way, we stopped at the famous love cafe which offers a mediocre breakfast but breathtaking views from their terrace. If you aren't hungry, you can still stop and snap the perfect panoramic photo.
We passed by the WWII Memorial Bridge and quickly arrived at the canyon. The spot is famous for photographers and thrill-seeking tourists. Indeed, the most remote viewing areas required us to traverse challenging trails. We climbed up and down using our legs as well as our arms and managed to cross a number of narrow ridges with significant drops on either side.
To finish the day, we left the natural rocky landscape and headed for the Mor Paeng Waterfall, a three-tiered waterfall. The popular attraction during the day was left empty when we arrived around 5 in the afternoon.
