Pai to Chiang Mai

We were already leaving Pai but we couldn't leave before jumping into the crystal clear and pure hot water of the Sai Ngam Hot Springs also known as the Secret Hot Springs. We woke up (very) early and hopped on our scooter for the 15 kilometres ride north of Pai on the steep and windy highway 1095. The last section was very abrupt, and we felt like being on a rollercoaster going up and down the hill.

Two Travel The World - Sai Ngam Hot Spring

We paid 20 THB per person for the national park entry, another 20 THB for the bike and 20 THB more each to access the 3 levelled pools. We arrived first and could relax in the water which was at a comfortable temperature. Not too hot. Not too cold. We soaked up for an hour before being joined by another couple. It was time for us to leave anyway and get ready for the 3-hour bus to Chiang Mai.
