We slept well in our first cosy beach hut made of bamboos and large banana leaves at the Agonda beach in Goa. The undiscovered paradise is no a wild party place but a quiet place. It's forbidden to party their ass off. It's more a yoga heaven. Those are the reasons the place is known as the silent beach of Goa.
The isolation and serenity were what we needed after our restless and crowded trip in Varanasi and Delhi.
After a Western breakfast, we meat pancakes, we went for a walk along the street which was running parallel the beach. We found nice shops and restaurants and we were pleased vendors weren't as pushing as in the north India. We bought a few gifts and personal care products and head back to the resort.
Of course, we went swimming In the Arabian Sea. The waves were powerful, but the lifeguards were patrolling even it the red flag was up. Funnily the locals were bathing clothed.
We finished the day with drinks and food at Jojolapa Agonda Resort. Spot on the food and polite and pleasant staff. What else can you ask?
