Chiang Mai to Mandalay
We are leaving Thailand but we will come back soon. Now we are heading to Myanmar - a country we've been eagerly anticipating to explore.
Crossing from Chiang Mai to Mandalay marks the beginning of our Myanmar adventure. The flight was smooth, and as we descended into Mandalay, we caught our first glimpses of golden stupas and temples dotting the landscape below. This is the Myanmar we've dreamed about - a land of ancient temples, warm smiles, and rich Buddhist culture.
Arriving in Mandalay, Myanmar's second-largest city, we felt the excitement of entering a new country with so much to discover. From here, our journey through Myanmar would take us to ancient capitals, river cruises, and eventually to the magnificent temples of Bagan.
