La Randonnée De Campuhan Ridge
About This Experience
The Campuhan Ridge Walk is one of Ubud's most beloved trails — a narrow path that runs along the spine of a hill between two deep river valleys. Starting near the Ibah Luxury Villas at the confluence of the Wos and Cerik rivers, the trail offers uninterrupted views of palm trees, tall grass swaying in the breeze, and the lush green landscape that defines Bali's interior.
What to Expect
The walk is flat and easy, following a paved path along the ridge for about two kilometres. In the early morning, the trail is quiet and the light is golden — ideal for photography. As you walk, you'll pass through tall grass fields with sweeping valley views on both sides. The path eventually leads to the village of Keliki, where you can turn back or continue exploring.
Practical Tips
- Start early in the morning to avoid the heat and crowds
- The trail begins near Pura Gunung Lebah temple in central Ubud
- Bring water and sun protection — there is little shade along the ridge
- The path is paved and accessible to all fitness levels
- Best light for photography is at sunrise or late afternoon
